First release which supports Oracle Java 8 only (jFed 5.3.2 will continue to support Java 7):
- full support for Java 8, which works more stable, especially on linux
- webstart checking for right Java version
- allow ethernet links in w-iLab.t testbed (the new DSS nodes have 1 gigabit ethernet experiment interface besides the control interface)
- one can also save the X.509 PEM file now to change e.g. the password
- jFed experimenter CLI has been further improved with extra options so it is really production quality now (see documentation how to use it)
- completely new monitoring dashboard with lots of details added and with smoother email support (only send an email after a number of consecutive fails and with dependencies)
- now possible to choose which manifest RSpec to save in a multitestbed experiment (before it was only the combined manifest
- improved and faster connectivity tester
- support for mate ssh terminal on Mint linux
- improved preferences dialog box with more options
- a lot of other bug fixes and small improvements, in total about 90 tickets were closed for this release
